Beyond a thank you, the Philippine Volcanoes want to see more Filipinos playing the sport of rugby. The men's Philippine rugby team captain Michael Letts encourages Filipinos to try out the game.
"It doesn't matter what size you are, there's a position for you," said Letts in a post-match press conference after their Asian 5 Nations Division I win against Singapore.
"Because Filipinos are skillful and they're fast, rugby is a great sport for them to adapt to," he added.
The captain also thanked Filipinos for their support.
